my colleague is quitting, he is not hiring.
results? i am going to take over my colleague's job for the month of July!
maybe i should feel honoured, for they think so highly of me and allow me to take over the duty that were meant for 2 permanent staffs.

"chiong" week & my heartless manager
it was crazy. i worked OT every single day in this week. and i broke my record again, this time round, i slept for only 1 hour before going for work again (reached home at 5am, got up at 6). think i am really a workaholic,
setuju?
my heartless manager, despite knowing the fact that i only slept for 1 hour the night before, made me work OT again the next day. he went to fetch me from Boon Lay MRT in the morning, told me that he really appreciated my effort and asked me never to work till so late again, but guess what's in for me in the evening? there was something wrong with the accounting system and he made me stayed back to get it done (yes, not trying to brag, but i am the only one who knows how to fix the problem in the office)
"yu-qing, i think you better go home now
le hor, you need to rest". after 5 minutes, "yu-qing, what do you want to have for dinner? pizza hut or mcdonalds'?".. so nice of him right?
at 12+ sm, the GM gave me 2 options because i was not done with my work: stay now, finish up with your work and i can take leave the following day; go home now and do my work the next day, he will pick me up at 6 30am from my house. obviously, i would prefer the former, but my manager was pressing me to choose the latter (probably because he wanted me to turn up for work the next day). i was so upset with him i wanted to cry.. he even offered to buy me breakfast, so nice of him right?
but in the end, i still got my way and stayed up in the office till my work was done.
the next day, i turned up for work nonetheless because i know the consequences if i didn't. when he saw me, his words were full of sarcasm, "so how was it? had a good rest? ", "look at her, she looks good right?", "so what did you do today? sleep right?"
... ...
a old fox that is not longer bothered to hide his tail. i am grossed out, totally.
